When I first received the product, it was rather understuffed in my opinion. The material feels great and the stuffing is soft and embracing, but I had to fold the pillow over on itself to get the comfort I was looking for, which made the pillow too small. Snuggle-Pedic reached out to me via email after my purchase and I shared my feedback with them. They were incredibly understanding and sent me a brand new pillow that was stuffed to my custom request without hassel. The shipping was really fast and the customer service was just great. You can tell they truly value their customers. I love my final product and I will definitely work with them again in the future. Just note, if you like a firmer pillow, you may want to contact the seller before ordering.
Yes. Our pillows are inherently dust mite resistant comes from the use of hypoallergenic materials, such as our high density foam fill, which has been shown to not allow dust mites to proliferate in the scientific literature. For our cover, our viscose of bamboo and polyester combination does not provide a good food source for dust mites like a material such as cotton does, so that means that all materials used in the pillow are inherently dust mite resistant. We also only use CertiPUR-US Certified and Biogreen GreenGuard tested very low V.O.C. foam, further proving our dedication to ensuring we only use the most environmentally friendly and safe materials. Also, Allergists recommend putting items that are not washed regularly in the dryer on a high heat for 20 minutes to kill any dust mites any and since you can do that with our shredded foam pillows, that is one additional option at your disposal.
We offer an industry-leading 20-Year Limited Warranty and 120-Night Satisfaction Guarantee on our kids pillow! Please click HERE for more details.
For the Kids size Snuggle-Pedic pillow, we cut the Kool-Flow bamboo fabric covering to allow for a 18 inch width and 13 inch length, but the whole pillow measurement can be a bit more or less, depending on how spread out the fill is.
We generally believe that the size can work as a camping or travel type pillow for adults, but it is very small regular usage. For regular usage, we recommend smaller individuals use the Standard size Snuggle-Pedic.
The viscose of bamboo blended material that we use is a little cooler to the touch, however, it is the micro-venting of our Kool-Flow cover which adds So much more breathability, combined with the breathable nature of our proprietary shredded foam mix that really allows the pillow to sleep cooler overall.
Our proprietary Kool-Flow Bamboo cover is heavier weight, thicker and more luxurious feeling, as well as being made in the U.S.A., where as the one you get from most other companies are usually imported (likely from China). Also, our micro-vented stitching allows the cover to be extra breathable, despite the extra thickness of the fabric. Also, our shredded foam mix uses very special hypo-allergenic and extremely low V.O.C. Biogreen® memory foam and CertiPur-U.S. certified foam. This proprietary mix of foams come directly from the same foam we use on with our high-end, all U.S.A. produced mattresses made right in our Agoura Hills, CA factory. The very small pieces are extremely soft and fluffy and make our pillow lighter and more resilient than the usual shredded memory foam pillows found on the market. Lastly, while the majority of our customers love our product from the get go, we know that there is not one single pillow that can meet every customer’s needs, so we offer our customers completely free customizations (we even pay the shipping cost to exchange your pillow) and can modify your pillow to suit your needs. This includes altering the comfort, support, thickness, and buoyancy/springiness.
It is true that when a company says “Made in the U.S.A.,” unfortunately, it does not mean that every component is made in the U.S.A. and in fact, it may mean that only the final assembly is done in the U.S., despite the fact the the FTC has regulations for allowing a company to use the claim “Made in the U.S.A.” However, we are one of the few pillow/mattress companies that has had our entire supply chain audited and certified as all U.S. made. Our pillows are one such example, as all the material is made in the U.S. and assembled in California. It is because we only use high-end, made in the U.S.A. components in our products that make them so durable and allow us to offer long warranties. The foam itself comes from the excess material found in our high-end mattresses that have been made into small pieces from our ventilator and shredding machine. Lastly, we support local jobs by hiring 100% of our staff right here in Southern California.
